Hand-built white stoneware tray with a porcelain slip wash. The surface is incised with a razor blade and trimming tool to create the needle and cone pattern. The texture is then layered with black underglaze and dipped in Clear glaze for a glossy and functional finish. The final firing adds the silver accent with a white gold luster. Each pattern is created by the artist originally for each piece. It will be great for parties or entertaining but could function daily as a centerpiece or design moment.
